The Horneytown Fire Department currently has an opening for a Full-time Firefighter position. The Position has a 24 hour type schedule.
Applications must be picked up at Station 29 located at 102 Horneytown Rd. High Point, NC between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Completed applications must be returned to Station 29 by October 17th, 2018 at 5:00 PM. Application cannot be faxed or mailed. Must include a current criminal history, with driving record included.
Annual Salary range from $ 28,000 to $ 32,000 depending on qualifications.
Employment Prerequisite's:

- US Citizen
- At least 21 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- NC Class B Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- NC Firefighter Level
- NC OEMS EMT
(Ability to obtain Forsyth County EMT Expanded-Scope with in 6 months.)
- NC Hazardous Materials Level 1—(Haz-Mat Ops)
- Incident Command Training (NIMS 100, 200, 700) or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- NC Emergency Vehicle Driver Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
