Colfax Fire Department is currently accepting applications for career employment for : Firefighter / Driver

Desired minimum qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent (GED)
NC Firefighter 2 NC EMT
Hazardous Materials Operations
NC Class B Driver’s License

Above qualifications must be obtained within a period of time as determined by the Fire Chief

Shift schedule
Modified 24/48 which gives four days off every third weekend.

Salary
Minimum entry firefighter level is $30,000, consideration may be given to salary dependent upon certifications, and experience.
